If you’re in the process of planning your wedding and you don’t really love the idea of having a traditional wedding cake, then don’t have one! You want your guests to enjoy going up and choosing their selections, and it’s actual a great way to get your guests to mingle more among-st themselves as they chat about what ones they like or which ones they think people should make sure to try.
Another unique item would be to do pies. Who doesn’t love a slice of warm apple pie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream?? Whether it’s banana cream, chocolate mousse, pumpkin or pecan, there is bound to be flavor that will satisfy everyone’s bellies!
When you have a wedding in the heat of the summer and top it off by having dance floor filled with people, what better way to cool off than by having an old fashioned ice cream parlor! You could have cones and dishes and toppings galore for your guests to create their favorite frozen treat. Take it one step further and add some warm brownies and you’ve got countless happy guests creating a delicious hot fudge brownie sundae topped with sprinkles, whipped cream, cherries, nuts, Oreo cookie crumbles—you name it!
