What does this exactly mean, what is a “dedicated event manager”? Once you have contracted your wedding reception at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, you will be assigned to one of our professional, experienced, and talented event managers. Your event manager will be your main contact throughout the whole planning process, and will be onsite during your event. The event manager can guide you in regards to what works best for your room setup, helping you to achieve your desired style / theme for the event. Offering advice on current trends, event schedule, room décor, and food and beverage are all areas where our event managers shine while making the planning process a breeze for our clients. If you require a service from an outside provider/vendor, our event managers can also offer assistance in this area (giving suggestions and putting you in touch with the best professionals in the area). When your big day finally arrives, your event manager will be onsite to troubleshoot during the setup process; ensuring things are running according to plan/schedule. Coordinating setup times / building access with your outside vendors will also be handled by your event manager (again, saving you the trouble of all of this yourself). As the evening unfolds, the event manager will be in the room with radio contact to the food and beverage team to ensure every last detail is executed flawlessly.
