Sioux Falls Wedding Photography, Destination Jamaica Part 2
So here we are again…representing Sioux Falls in Negril Jamaica for Eric and Melissa’s Destination wedding. So after introducing you to the bride, we are now going to present the couple. Not only to you, but to each other. It took a 3 hour car ride and 2 plane rides, customs and a somewhat dicey 1 1/2 hour drive through some sketchy parts of Jamaica to get to this amazing destination. We kinda felt like journalists traveling half way around the world to photograph this event.
Eric, myself and the guys took about 20 minutes to ready ourselves for the day. The groomsmen for the day are in no particular order. Corey, who was missing his suit through an unforeseen set of circumstances involving the blu man group, a dry cleaners and a $1300 shipping bill. The “best man” Michael who obtained his superior status through a technical disqualification during the best man dance of in which I destroyed my left thumb (FYI, Salt’N’Pepa, “Push It”). Lastly myself, pulling double duty as groomsmen number two and photographer number two. I’m not sayin, I’m just sayin’.
Then Melissa’s little boy Dylan, there to help his Grandpa walk Melissa down the aisle.
Eric and I rushed off to wait for Melissa and Holly. After some flower girl hair drama, (Let’s just say that Camilla had rollers in her hair overnight leaving an unexpected and less then desirable afro) and emotions from Melissa’s two sisters Sarah and Shannon, and her best friend Allison, finally the bride is ready! Let’s do this!
